The Joy of Being a Make-A-Wish Intern

Sadly enough, today is my last day with Make-A-Wish as an employee, but I will continue my involvement as a volunteer!  Little did I know going into my last semester as a Marketing Major at Boise State that I would be interning for a non-profit organization like Make-A-Wish.  Taking every up, down, and in and out that this job has provided, what a joy my job has been!  I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to get involved with such an amazing organization with the mission to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

I’ve enjoyed my time here and all that I have learned about non-profit organizations and the work and effort Make-A-Wish puts in to making the money that provides the wishes to our Idaho children.  Make-A-Wish is looking to grant 76 wishes this fiscal year, can you believe it!

Well, thank you to the Make-A-Wish staff and everyone that I have met and worked with during my internship here.  You’ve opened my eyes to really see that giving is truly a gift!
